How do I order my repeat prescription?
Step 1. Collect or request an order form from reception and fill in the details including the name of your chosen pharmacy. Alternatively you can order your repeat prescription by email ([email protected]) or phone (074 91 38388 or 074 91 36527).
Step 2. The doctor will review your request and prepare the prescription. This will be available for collection in the surgery 72 hours (3 working days) after it is ordered.
Step 3. Your prescription will be ready for collection in the surgery 72 hours (3 working days) after you have submitted your form.
Alternatively
Step 4. You can ask your nominated pharmacy to re-order your repeat prescription in the weeks leading up to when it is due to run out. This is often a good idea as it means you do not have to remember when it is due and you can arrange to collect your medications as usual without having to worry about being left short! (Please speak with a member of staff or your local pharmacy for details).
Step 5. If you do not have a medical card a prescription charge will apply. A payment link will be sent to your phone after your request has been received. Please allow at least 1 working day after the payment has been received before arrange collection of your medications.
*Please note that in the interest of patient safety and in keeping with best practice guidelines we no longer accept verbal or phone requests for repeat prescriptions. It is your responsibility to order your repeat prescription in good time.
